Privacy and your data
This page describes how the current app handles account and practice data. It does not promise a legal retention period or replace any additional notices from your service operator.
What the app saves
Your account includes an email address, optional display name and saved preferences such as onboarding dismissal. Practice records include games played, scores, answers counted correct, session duration, difficulty levels, timestamps, activity dates, streaks and achievements.
Practice Check results are stored with their component scores. Older records may retain historical field names such as “brain_age”; they are game records, not a diagnosis.
Billing records link your account to a Stripe customer and subscription, with paid access dates and processed payment-event identifiers.
Where information goes
Supabase provides sign-in and database storage. Session cookies keep you signed in. Google receives sign-in requests if you choose Google authentication. Stripe hosts checkout and billing management; your email and account identifier may be associated with its customer record. Payment card details are entered on Stripe’s hosted pages.
The deployment’s hosting provider processes web requests and may retain operational logs. Database backups and provider records follow the operator’s and providers’ configured retention settings. No fixed deletion timetable is stated here.
Your controls
You can download your account and practice records as a JSON file from Help & account. The file contains personal information; keep it somewhere private.
Account deletion removes your sign-in and associated application records. It is blocked while a subscription or payable checkout remains active, so deletion cannot leave you with a continuing subscription you cannot manage. End billing first and wait for its paid period to finish.
Deleting the app account does not erase Stripe’s billing records or immediately remove records from provider backups or operational logs.
